JOB BOARD SEARCH TIPS The following information is provided to assist you in navigating your way around the WA Government Job Board.
Make no selections then click 'Search'. VIEW VACANCIES BASED ON CRITERIA You can search for vacancies on the WA Government Job Board by occupation, agency, salary range, classification level, location/region, work type or keyword. NB: to select multiple criteria within a field, hold down the CTRL key while selecting options with your mouse, then click 'Search'. VIEW ONLY THOSE JOBS POSTED SINCE YOUR LAST VISIT This site is a real-time site. Jobs are loaded daily and removed according to the closing date of vacancies. The job search function allows you to select vacancies based on those advertised in the last day, last 2 days, last week, last 2 weeks and last month. Alternatively, clicking on 'View Latest Jobs' will show you all the jobs that have been added that day only. SIGN UP TO RECEIVE EMAIL NOTIFICATION OF VACANCIES You can either search the WA Government Job Board when you need to or you can elect to receive emails that notify you of advertised vacancies. All you have to do is create a 'Search Profile.' To do this, simply click 'Email me Jobs' and follow the registration instructions. You will then be sent an email with a password that you can use to log on to create your own search profile. Creating Your Own Search Profile
You can change your search profile at any time simply by logging on to the job board and clicking 'My Details'. To stop receiving emails, change the 'Email me Jobs' drop-down menu at the bottom of the screen to 'No'. By doing this, you will no longer receive e-mails from this account. However, your search profile can still be used to display any jobs that match your criteria in your 'My Jobs' list.
